With PAX Australia in Melbourne but a few days away, Microsoft have unveiled their arrangement of titles hitting the show floor this weekend.
Top of the list is the Xbox One X (formerly known as Project Scorpio), Microsoft’s next, beefier Xbox One iteration, which will be running many of the titles being shown off.
Rare’s pirate-plunder adventure Sea of Thieves will be on the show floor, along with Australian-made Hand of Fate 2. A number of already-released Xbox-exclusives like Forza Motorsport , Halo Wars 2, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (an Xbox One console exclusive) will also be on show.
Xbox team members will also be on stage in the now-staple “Wombat Theatre” at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, with Shannon Loftis (GM Xbox Publishing) at the ‘Women in Games in Australia‘ talk on Saturday the 28th October at 11am, and Chris Charla (head of the independent developer program at Xbox) giving a talk on ‘The Power of the Modern Indie‘ at 3pm.
