Microsoft have announced the launch of a limited-time pop up “hotel” of sorts where players can secure a time slot to play the new Xbox One X early.
The event, which will be running for 48 hours from Friday 3rd November to Saturday 5th November, will run out of Pirrama Park in Pyrmont, in Sydney’s inner city, and consists of four suites where players can play the new Xbox One X days before the console’s release on November 7.
As expected with the demo of what is touted as a more powerful system, the rooms will have high-res 4K TVs and Dolby Atmos headsets.
Titles available include Forza Motorsport 7, Assassin’s Creed Origins, and Minecraft, and Microsoft promises a “full selection” of their Enhanced Xbox One X library via the “Gold Standard” concierge. Players will be required to check-in (or create) a GamerTag.
Time slots range from two hour sessions to overnight stays (check-in: 8pm, check-out: 8am next morning) and can be booked through Eventbrite.
