From the Last City to Melbourne (new theory: what if the Last City is Melbourne), Cayde-6’s Spicy Ramen has found its way to this weekend’s PAX Australia exhibition at the Convention Centre.
Activision and Bungie have teamed up with Akachochin, a Japanese restaurant and sake bar in Southbank to bring Destiny-themed recipes to the PAX show floor.
Located on the “Common Lawn” at the Convention Centre this weekend, hungry show-goers will be able to choose from one of three Destiny-themed recipes including Zavala’s miso broth-infused ramen, Ikora’s soy ramen — and, of course, Cayde’s signature Spicy Ramen.
Speaking of the new recipes, Uein Hayashi Lee, head chef of Akachochin said, “We love creating new dishes, so couldn’t wait to produce a Spicy Ramen recipe in honour of Destiny’s Cayde-6, that he could truly be proud of! For those unsure if they can handle the extra spice, we also have two other Destiny inspired recipes available that we hope will keep fans coming back for more.”
Destiny 2 (as in, the game) will of course also make an appearance on the show floor, with an emphasis being placed on the PC version of the game (which launches tonight, in case you missed it) at the NVIDIA, Razer, and Alienware booths.
