This week we spoke about an Animal Crossing announcement from Nintendo, and here it is: A new mobile release in the beloved and now-staple Nintendo franchise is coming out globally next month, but if you’re in Australia the good news is you can play it already!
The new title takes the classic Animal Crossing formula and splits it up, allowing players to go shopping, fishing, and so on. There’s also levelling and crafting. Y’know, all the staples of a good old fashioned free-to-play mobile game.
As is to be expected, the game relies in-app purchases for speeding up item crafting. The game also hooks into your My Nintendo account, if you’ve got one either from a previous Nintendo mobile release like Super Mario Run or Fire Emblem Heroes, or through your Switch or 3DS.
Players in Australia can download Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp now on iOS App Store, and Google Play. The title is expected to release mobile devices outside of the Great Southern Land in late November.
