UPDATE 7:35pm AEST: It appears the demo might well be live on other eShop regions, too. To find it, be sure to go to the Coming Soon page and click on the Puyo Puyo Tetris full game page to download the demo. Searching for anything Puyo Puyo-related on the actual eShop will lead nowhere, for some reason. Original story follows.
SEGA’s Puyo Puyo Tetris hits Switch and PS4 later this month, and the demo has just hit the North American Nintendo eShop.
If you own a Switch, the Puyo Puyo Tetris demo has hit the US eShop today, meaning you can check out a taste of SEGA’s upcoming Tetromino-clearing and Puyo-popping title.
The demo includes Versus and Swap solo and local multiplayer modes, and a tutorial for both Puyo Puyo and Tetris if you’re a newcomer.
Not in the US? You can still access the US store, all you have to do is create a Nintendo Account and set it as being from the United States. It’s actually pretty simple as far as account-making goes compared to other systems, and you should be able to download the demo in a few minutes.
The demo clocks in at about 685MB.
The full game comes out April 28 in Europe and April 25 in the Americas for both PS4 and Switch and retails at $29.99 digitally and $39.99 for a special Switch-only retail edition.
